  • Designed and instituted global Procurement function responsible for $1.2B/yr. spend including all elements of Sourcing, Buying, Data Reporting and Analytics, Supplier Performance, BPO, Process Flow and Cost Controls.

  • Owned full P&L and transformed the team from tactical cost center to centralized, strategic profit department. Achieved 19% savings and 9x process improvement while managing 28%/yr. volume and 21%/yr. spend increase.  Global responsibility and efficiency for all departments, affiliates and subsidiaries.

  • Successfully implemented best in class projects with up to 7x ROI including $310M global facilities BPO, $36M travel program, P2P/ERP, $17M marketing rebranding, $42M trading platforms and $410M data centers.   

  • Established strong relationships with key executive business unit leaders as advocates.  Spearheaded overall strategy, TCO, cash-flows, identification of initiatives/resources and $31M savings-based project funding. 

  • Directed budgets, multiple timelines, EEs allocation, quality, value chain mapping, compliance and risk/tax management.  Established KPIs/SLAs, global and preferred suppliers, audits, corrective actions and QBRs.

  • Led $1.4B/yr. global corporate Sourcing/Procurement organization with 23% savings based on spend, ROI, NPV, quality, price, trends and TCO.

  • Managed full departmental budget along with establishment of self and savings funded project deployment.

  • Accountable for overall sourcing and policy across 16 departments including:  IT, Security, Trading, R&D, HR, Finance, Legal, Recruiting, Facilities, Compliance and others.  Achieved 63% CW reduction and $54M savings.

  • Implemented first successful company-wide, global $220M BPO, category management, corporate travel and Professional Services initiatives with 48% labor cost reduction.  Defined and instituted $212M VMS program.   

  • Designed 30% multi-year BPP savings, cash-flow, BCP and supplier consolidation.  Cost analysis and business model segmentation leading to best in class expansion results while analyzing supplier cost model.

CONSUMER GOODS, FOOD & BEVERAGE AND MARKETING:

  • Led sourcing budget of $690M/yr.  Successfully managed global, cross-functional team while designing and implementing payroll, IT and financial project impacting 122K EEs in 79 countries.

  • Instituted $6B global Procurement transformation. Global lead for consulting, labor and shared services COE.  Assertive yet open minded skilled liaisons to business units through relationship management and strong ability to influence while earning organizational/stakeholder trust.

  • Effectively developed, coordinated and executed a $1B, 3-year North American, EMEA and Pacific strategic agreement with 18% cost savings.  Principal lead for IT, HR, payroll, AP and shared services outsourcing. 

  • Developed supplier management by encompassing cost control, tier-II supplier criteria, sustainability, MSAs, SLAs, contingencies and continuous improvement.  Achieved 26% project ROI with $25.7M savings.

  • Developed and introduced online reverse quoting events totaling $139M and resulting in 28% cost savings.

  • Implemented kaizen, fact-based negotiated $219M global programs and exceeded savings by $2.1M.

HEALTH CARE AND TRANSPORTATION:

  • Managed $1.6B/yr. spend.  Achieved $14.7M/yr. health-care/prescription savings.

  • Directed negotiations and set strategy for training, benefits and IT systems for 78K EEs in 12 languages.

  • Led a global team with $780M spend including sourcing, RFP/RFI development/analysis and auctions.

  • Served as global alliance sourcing chairman and principal negotiator.  Anti-trust and JV alliance commercial lead.

  • Managed $12B bankruptcy/merger supplier strategies including DIP for the Board of Directors and EC.

  • Designed and implemented first corporate supplier management program and achieved $101M savings.

  • Developed and implemented $19.8M cumulative, 2-yr operational savings through M/WBE in/out sourcing. 

AUTOMOTIVE, GOVERNMENT AND MANUFACTURING:

  • Managed $230M global direct materials sourcing and leases with shipments of over 1,100 parts/ 19 countries. 

  • Successfully managed $3B transformation project and $1B program launch with 14% savings.
